History Of Events
History of Events (Audit History) is where you keep track of the sequence of actions - aiding you in troubleshooting, auditing, and understanding the historical context of activities.
- Immutable Records: Ensures log integrity by preventing all forms of data tampering.
- Source IP Tracking: Each log includes its source IP address, giving you visibility into every request's origin.
Tracked Events
Every Create, Edit, Update, and Delete event is tracked, giving administrators a comprehensive overview of the following resources' activities:
- SSO
- Tasks
- Users
- Groups
- Brand
- Variables
- Authorization
- A8Data
- A8Configuration
- Deployment
Authentication events, including Login, Login Failure, and Logout, are also tracked to enhance security measures.
Accessing "History of Events"
- Navigate to Settings > History of Events.
Here, the events are displayed as a timeline, including the following log details:
- Timestamp: The date and time of the event.
- Event Type: The type of event.
- User ID: The ID of the user responsible for the operation.
Change the chronological order of the timeline from the drop-down.
- Select between Newest First and Oldest First.
Log: Detailed View
Each event on the timeline is represented by a Node. You can further interact with the node - click on it - to access detailed information of the specific event.
Filter
Filters allow you to narrow down the timeline by Date and/or specific Keywords. Let's have a look at them:
By Date
Default:
You can filter the dates by All, Week, Month, or Year.
Custom:
Or you can filter by specifying a particular Date or Range.
- Click the Calender.
- Select a Date (click twice) or Range (Start & End Date).
By Condition
Filter the events by predefined keywords.
- Click the + Add Filter button.
- Select a Keyword from the drop-down.
- Enter the corresponding value.
- Press "Enter" on your keyboard to confirm the condition.
You can filter by multiple keywords, but each keyword can only be used once.

Export
You can export the Audit Histoy as a CSV. To Export:
- Click the Export button at the top-right.
You will receive a notification confirming your request.
To Download
- Navigate to Settings > Downloads.
In the Downloads screen:
Once the export STATUS changes to Success.
- Click the Download Icon to grab the .csv file.
